The ALG-16 metal mount is compatible with Fenix tactical flashlights, the diameter of the tail of which is in the range from 22.5 to 26 millimeters, and the diameter of the head part does not exceed the value of 0 mm. The accessory is intended for fixing the lighting device on the weapon with the M-Lok modular fastening system.

The fastening uses a patented roller mechanism for quick installation and removal of the accessory. This can be done with one hand by turning the ribbed wheel in the desired direction. For a more reliable fixation of the attachment, the wheel must be additionally tightened with the help of the hex key from the kit.

On the inside of the landing ring there are a pair of rubberized inserts for a tight hold of the flashlight inside, which is especially important when recoiling during shooting. Inserts also prevent the appearance of scratches on the smooth surface of the lantern body. If the diameter of the tail of the lighting device is more than 25.4 millimeters, then the inserts must be removed for correct installation of the model in the landing ring.
