To attach the light to the gun, open the QD lever, insert the design into the slot, and close the lever. After that, it is enough to adjust the clamping bolt of the guide to tightly fix the accessory on the weapon and prevent it from falling in the event of recoil during shooting.

Operating modes

A minimum set of a pair of modes is available to the user: the main one with constant light and an auxiliary strobe. Depending on which power element is installed in the lantern (Li-ion battery or CR123A battery), the light parameters will change.

• With Li-ion battery: 600 lumens – 4880 candelas – 50 minutes – 140 meters.
• With CR123A battery: 400 lumens – 1 hour 30 minutes.

Please note that run time at maximum light output is measured along with run time at reduced brightness levels enabled by the overheat protection board.

Control Features

Fenix ​​GL06-365 includes a 16340 Li-ion battery, which is produced by the brand itself taking into account the characteristics of branded LED lights. The cell capacity is 700 mAh, and the nominal voltage is 3.6 V. But the main advantage of the battery — resistance to the "memory effect".

The lantern does not have a charging port. Instead, the manufacturer built a Micro-USB port into the battery itself and supplemented it with a color indicator, which allows you to determine when the charging process has ended:

• Red indicator: the battery is charging;
• Green indicator: the amount of charge has reached 100%.

The battery included in the set provides the lamp with maximum power. But if you want to extend the operating time of the device, you can replace the branded power cell with a CR123A lithium battery, which increases the glow time by 40 minutes.

The intelligent system in the model independently adjusts the level of light brightness based on the amount of charge in the power cell. At the moment when the voltage in the battery drops below the 3.2 V mark, the lighting device begins to signal this to the user by means of three successive flashes every 2 minutes.

Fenix ​​GL06-365 has high protection against mechanical impact due to the integral body made of anodized aluminum A6061-T6 — stainless alloy with an impact strength of 1 meter. The anodized finish prevents the metal from oxidizing if drops of grease, acid, or salt water get on the surface.

Inside the design is a thin rubber seal that prevents water from getting inside and disrupting the electronics. The moisture protection class is IPX7.
