The Fenix CL26R Pro flashlight is a functional companion during outdoor recreation. The versatility of the model allows you to arrange a resting place based on personal needs and preferences: the lantern can shine both 360° and only downwards, and the red glow turns it into a night light, which allows the traveler to relax before going to sleep.

One Redslight SC1818C white diode and seven sets of COB LEDs are built into the device. The maximum brightness value reaches 650 lumens, which is enough for detailed illumination of an area within a radius of 15 meters. The color temperature of light ranges from 4000K to 6800K.

The model works in 9 modes, including 7 options with white light and a couple of options with red lighting.

High: 500 lumens – 10 hours;
Medium: 200 lumens – 13 hours;
Low: 50 lumens – 40 hours;
Front: 25 lumens – 67 hours;
Bottom 1: 5 lumens – 408 hours;
Bottom 2: 50 lumens – 58 hours;
Bottom 3: 150 lumens – 15 hours;
Red constant: 3 lumens – 125 hours;
Red flashing: 3 lumens - 240 hours.

The high, medium, low and front modes are in group A, and bottom 1, bottom 2 and bottom 3 are in group B.

The flashing mode of the red spectrum is convenient to use as an emergency beacon, if it is necessary to warn people around about danger.

Management features

Control is based on the interaction between an electronic button and a rotary switch, which are located on the front of the case.

Turn on the flashlight: press and hold the button. A short press of the button when the device is on allows you to move between the two red modes;
Brightness change in mode group A: clockwise rotation of the switch;
Brightness change in mode group B: counterclockwise rotation of the switch.

Modes from groups A and B can be combined with each other. To do this, first you need to turn the rotary switch, then press and hold the button - this way, the bottom and 360° lighting are simultaneously activated. After that, with the step-by-step rotation of the switch and short clicks of the button, you can set the required brightness of each type of light.

Power source

To access the battery, it is necessary to unscrew the upper cover of the lamp housing. One 21700 li-ion battery included in the kit (ARB-L21-5000 V2.0) is placed in the compartment. The 5,000 mAh battery charge is enough for the model to operate for at least 17 days.

Instead of the li-ion battery from the kit, it is allowed to use the 18650 power source from the ARB-L18 line if there is a special holder.

The battery charge level is monitored by an LED indicator above the rotary switch. The amount of remaining charge is equivalent to the number of lit indicators:

4 indicators: 100% - 80%;
3 indicators: 80% - 60%;
2 indicators: 60% - 40%;
1 indicator: 40% - 20%;
1 indicator flashing: 20% - 1%.

On the opposite side of the control buttons, there is a plug that covers two USB ports: an input Type-C for charging the battery of the flashlight (charging time takes ±3.5 hours) and an output USB-A, which turns the device into a portable Power Bank. This function allows you to partially charge a smartphone and other small equipment in the field.

Physical parameters

The body of the CL26R Pro flashlight is made of plastic in order to reduce the weight to 199 grams. The design of the model involves not only installing the case on a flat surface, but also hanging it by a retractable hook-handle. A magnet is also built into the top cover, which fixes the device on a metal surface.

The shell of the model does not crack when hit on any of the 6 sides as a result of a fall from a height of 1 meter. Another advantage of the case is that it is waterproof and dustproof according to the IP66 class.

The dimensions of the lantern are 66 x 59.5 x 114 mm. It is delivered in a complete set in a branded package with dimensions of 156.2 x 75 x 72 mm.
