The Fenix ​​HL18R-T V2.0 headlamp is a functional model with 10 operating modes that is designed for outdoor running training. The ability to generate three types of lighting also makes the device a useful addition to your travel gear.

The lamp is equipped with 4 LEDs:

• Warm white Luminus SST20 CRI80 and cool white Luminus SST25 with a beam color temperature of 3000K and 6000K, respectively;
• Two red 2835, which are designed for soft illumination of the short distance and providing light signals in an emergency situation.

The service life of each diode is 50,000 hours, which is equivalent to 5.5 years of continuous operation.

The available modes are divided into 3 groups according to the type of lighting for quick adjustment with one hand.

Group with cold white light

• High: 350 lm – 1570 cd – 6 h 30 min – 79 m;

Group with warm white light

Pay attention! To calculate the duration of operation in Turbo mode, the time of operation of the lantern in less bright modes is taken into account. The brightness decreases when the overheat protection is triggered, which is activated when the internal electronics heat up.

Mode control in Fenix ​​HL18R-T V2.0 is carried out using several switches in the upper part of the structure. This model also features a separate switch for momentary locking/unlocking of the flashlight.

Power supply

Fenix ​​HL18R-T V2.0 comes complete with a branded Li-pol battery and is charged via a USB Type-C port located at the bottom of the case and covered by a protective cap.

The battery capacity is 1900 mAh. Four colored indicators under the lenses help monitor the charge level in the power cell and warn of voltage drop, reminding you of the need to charge.

Instead of the branded battery, you can use three AAA batteries: alkaline or Ni-NH. However, please note that the charge indicator does not work with alternative batteries.

The case of Fenix ​​HL18R-T V2.0 is hermetic according to the IP66 standard and is suitable for operation in difficult weather conditions, in particular during snowfall and rain. The design is also immune to mechanical damage even in the event of a fall from a meter height.

Innovations also affected the included forehead mount. In addition to reflective inserts, the fastening design is complemented by a two-way SPORT adjustment system, which allows you to quickly adjust the length of the elastic band with a simple twist of the adjuster. Functionality is added by the emergency whistle fixed on the rubber band. It will come in handy in an emergency to attract attention with sound signals.
