Created specifically for trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts, the HL32R-T headlamp model is distinguished not only by its brightness and variety of light, but also by its lightweight design for easier operation.

The lamp is equipped with two diodes with different lighting color temperatures: Luminus SST20 — 6500K, Redslight — 4000K. Each diode is controlled by a separate switch located in the upper part of the structure.

The maximum brightness of the model is 800 lumens, and the range of light reaches 132 meters. The model has a built-in sensor that monitors the user's step frequency and automatically adjusts the lighting power depending on the speed of movement. For example, at a speed of 150 steps per minute, the lantern will shine with a brightness of 200 lumens, and in case of acceleration to 220 steps per minute, this indicator will increase to 300 lumens.

Operation modes

The long-range group includes three brightness modes from 70 to 800 lumens, and the low-beam group includes four light options, including flashing SOS.

Long-range lighting

• High: 800 lumens – 4333 candelas – 3 hours – 132 meters;
• Med: 200 lumens – 1090 candelas – 8 hours – 66 meters;
• Low: 70 lumens – 365 candelas – 20 hours – 38 meters.

Low beam

The lantern has a function of digital current regulation, which maintains a stable lighting power in the on mode.

Management features

The interface is controlled by simply pressing and holding one of two buttons depending on the light group the model owner wants to use.

• Turning on / off the light: pressing one of the buttons for 0.5 seconds.
• Changing the operating mode: short pressing the button.

The model also has the option of electronic locking, which is activated by pressing one or two switches at once within 3 seconds. You need to repeat this procedure to unlock.

In the new 2024 versions of the lantern, to lock, press the two switches at the same time and hold them for 3 seconds.

Power source

Fenix ​​HL32R-T is sharpened to work on a proprietary ARB-LP1900 Li-ion battery unit. This accessory is included with the flashlight and provides the model with an impressive autonomy of up to 12.5 days.

The unit charges within three hours via a standard Type-C port. The necessary USB cable is also included in the set. In the front part of the structure, there are four small indicators that display the current charge level of the battery pack. It can be calculated based on the number of lit indicators:

• 1 indicator – 20%-0%;
• 2 indicators – 50%-20%;
• 3 indicators – 80%-50%;
• 4 indicators – 100%-80%.

The battery can be replaced with three AAA form factor batteries, but in this case the color charge indicator function will not be available.

Physical parameters

The HL32R-T model was developed for running and other sports, therefore, in addition to functionality, emphasis was also placed on the lightness of the 66 x 45 x 30 mm design. For this purpose, magnesium alloy, which is characterized by lightness, was chosen as the material of the case. This decision made it possible to reduce the total weight of the lantern to 107 grams, which is 30% less compared to similar lighting devices with an aluminum shell. At the same time, the alloy reliably protects electronics from damage in case of mechanical impact. This is demonstrated by numerous tests of the model, which proved that the case can easily withstand a drop from a height of two meters.

The lantern can work in different weather conditions: in winter frosts at an air temperature of up to -35°C and in summer, when the thermometer rises to 45°C. IP66 enclosure tightness class allows the model to be operated in a wet environment and prevents dust, grains of sand and other debris from entering through the housing joints.

The HL32R-T design features an elastic forehead mount with a patented length adjustment mechanism. This can be done with one hand: pull the round adjuster on the side of the mount, stretch/tighten the elastic by turning the adjuster, and push it back to its original position. The width of the rubber band is 36 mm.
