Description of the Fenix HL45R LED headlamp:
The Fenix HL45R headlamp is a multi-purpose model with innovative technologies that increase lighting functionality and simplify management.
The lantern has built-in 2 LEDs of different shades for different situations:
- Cold white Luminus SFT25R (color temperature 6000-6500K) generates a beam with a brightness of up to 1000 lumens and a range of 220 m;
- Red Osram GR QSSPA 1.23 for soft close-range illumination while preserving night vision and for providing a light signal.
You can take the flashlight on a trip, to work or on a bike ride - the variety of available modes and the possibility of adjusting the beam width from spotlight to focused allow you to adapt the light to current needs and the type of task being performed.
Operating modes and control features
Modes are divided into 2 groups according to the color of the beam - each has 4 lighting variations. Thanks to the function of remembering the last mode, the model is activated at the brightness that was set before turning it off.
White lighting group
- Turbo: 100 lm – 12067 cd – 3 h – 220 m;
- High: 350 lm – 4533 cd – 4 h 20 min – 135 m;
- Medium: 130 lm – 1660 cd – 12 h 40 min - 82 m;

Pay attention! Working time in Turbo mode is calculated as the sum of the duration of the glow together with less bright modes. The flashlight switches to them automatically in the event of heating of the internal electronics and activation of the overheat protection.
The control system consists of a combination of rotary and electronic switches that speed up the adjustment of the light. You can also turn the device on and off without interacting with switches! For this, a gesture recognition function is provided, which reads the movement of the hand in front of the lens.
Power supply
Fenix HL45R comes complete with a proprietary 1900 mAh Li-pol battery. The charge level is easy to monitor with the help of color indication on the front side of the lantern structure.
The battery can be charged directly in the battery compartment via the USB Type-C port on the bottom of the case. Full charging from 0% takes 3 hours, provided the 5V / 1A adapter is used.
Three disposable AAA batteries can be used as an alternative power source.
Physical parameters
The case is made of aluminum alloy, which is not prone to deformation and other damage in the event of a fall from a height of 1 m. Operation of the lantern in extreme weather conditions is also not a problem, as all joints of the shell are sealed according to the IP66 standard and do not let moisture inside, even if the model is exposed to a direct stream of water.
Another advantage of the Fenix HL45R is the possibility of quick attachment and removal from the headband. If necessary, you can use the device as a manual light source that fits easily in the palm of your hand.
