The Fenix ​​HM71R headlamp is suitable for both industrial and outdoor use. The interface includes a number of modes with directional, long-range light and close-range lighting with a wide beam with a maximum brightness of 2700 lumens.

The model is equipped with a pair of LEDs with different color temperatures. These are Luminus diodes: SFT70 — cold white light (6000K), SST20 — neutral white lighting (4000K). Thanks to the high range of the beam, it is possible to illuminate objects of various sizes at a distance of about 230 meters. At the same time, the duration of operation of the flashlight reaches 16 days, so the user will not be left without a light source in an emergency situation.

The HM71R flashlight interface is represented by a pair of mode groups: each has four light options. They are grouped by beam width and range.

Long range light

The "Read" mode emits the least powerful and eye-pleasing light, suitable for illuminating a room or the interior of a tent.

The HM71R model has the standard Fenix ​​headlamp one-switch control. The button is located in the head of the case and is easy to feel by hand even with a thick glove, as it has a large size and a textured surface.

The electronic lock function facilitates the operation of the flashlight, eliminating its accidental activation during transportation. This option is activated and deactivated by holding down the switch for 3 seconds.

Power source

The model is powered by a 21700 form factor lithium-ion battery — ARB-L21 (5000 mAh) manufactured by Fenix. The use of batteries of other brands is not recommended, as it deprives the user of the ability to activate the Turbo mode and may cause the flashlight to fail. The working voltage of the model is 3.7 V.

The set includes a standard USB Type-C charging cable. Charging the branded battery lasts 4 hours. During this time, a color indicator lights up in the switch, showing the charge level of the battery.

Physical parameters

The Fenix ​​HM71R case is made of two metals: the head of the structure — of stainless steel 316, and the other part — from anodized aluminum A6061-T6. Both materials are resistant to mechanical impact and successfully cope with their function — protection of internal electronics from damage.

The model is equipped with a forehead mount of a new type, in which the mechanism of fixing the flashlight on the rubber band has been revised. The manufacturer got rid of protruding plastic holders: now the lantern is held on an elastic band with the help of a steel clip. This not only helped reduce the total weight of the design to 207.5 grams, but also simplified the entire process of installing and removing the lighting device.

Without the forehead mount, the HM71R transforms into a portable light that can be used as a hand-held light source, a chest model or a lamp. In the latter case, the design allows fixation on a metal surface due to a powerful magnet at the base of the case.

The design with dimensions of 106 x 46 x 45 mm is completely protected from moisture and dust (class IP68) and does not break in the event of a fall from a height of several meters.
