Description of the Fenix HM75R SE headlamp:

The Fenix HM75R SE model is a simplified version of the Fenix HM75R flashlight. It has the same functionality with a wide range of modes, but comes with 1 battery instead of several. This allows you to buy one of the most innovative lights in the Fenix range at a more affordable price (if necessary, you can buy an additional battery separately).

4 LEDs are built into the lantern: 1 x Luminus SST40 (6500K), 2 x Luminus SST20 (4000K) and 1 x OSRAM GR QSSPA1.23 (red). They are under ultra-strong lenses made of Japanese plastic PC-1250Z.

Key features of the model include an intelligent dimming system. The technology provides for an instant decrease in brightness when the lantern approaches the illuminated object closer than 60 mm. In this way, it is possible to avoid the ignition of technical liquids and other flammable substances during exposure to a powerful beam, as well as to prevent the negative impact of lighting on human vision.

Long range light

Please note! The flashlight has overheating protection, which is activated in case the model heats up to 60°C during long-term operation at the highest brightness modes. As a result, the light output is reduced to give the internal electronics time to cool down.

Control is based on a metal rotary switch (selecting a group of modes) and a central button (changing the brightness of the beam).

Power supply

The Fenix HM75R SE flashlight comes with an ARB-L18-3400 li-ion battery that does not have a "memory effect" and stably powers the lighting device even in the event of temperature changes. The power element is charged through a USB Type-C port, built into the side of the lamp body and protected by a cap. The color indicator allows you to monitor the amount of charge.

The kit can be supplemented with a second 21700 battery, which is placed in the remote unit.

Physical parameters

The body is made of magnesium alloy. It is characterized by resistance to rust and lightness, reducing the weight of the lantern to 134 g. In addition, the metal can boast standard impact resistance, which makes the model immune to shocks when falling from a height of 2 m. A useful bonus is the maximum protection of the shell against dust and moisture (IP68), thanks to which the device can be used in a humid environment and can even be turned on after 4 hours of immersion in water to a depth of 2 m.

Case dimensions are 91.1 x 41 x 53.5 mm. A forehead mount with reflective elements is included. It is adapted to be fixed on the head and on a protective helmet with the possibility of changing the length of the rubber bands with the help of regulators.
