Description of Fenix HP30R V2.0 Headlamp (XHP50 + XP-G3 S4, ANSI 3000 lm, 21700) :

Fenix HP30R V2. 0 is an ultra-high-performance forehead protector. It can be used in search and rescue operations, and is also suitable as an excellent assistant for lovers of active leisure. This is an updated version of the previously released Fenix HP30R flashlight. The rechargeable headlamp provides an excellent light brightness of 3000 lumens with a range of 270 meters. Three LEDs are used for work at once: one XHP50 white light diode, two XP-G3 S4 neutral white light LEDs, with a service life of 50,000 hours.

Power is provided by two 21700 rechargeable batteries. They provide increased working time in a convenient charging case with a unique opportunity to also charge your other gadgets. The battery capacity reaches 5000 milliampere-hours.

The feature of this lantern is the ability to simultaneously use both diffused and concentrated lighting. This results in adaptive light. There is a rotary switch to start the DIM-MAIN beam mode. Dual interface for charging and discharging. Dual way of carrying the battery compartment: it can be attached to the headband or on the belt.

Below - detailed information about the specifics of the model.

Management

Management is by turning the button. From the off state, turn the switch clockwise, the flashlight will switch to high beam mode. From the same position, turn the switch counterclockwise, the headlamp will start in low beam mode. When the light is on, turn the button to the off position, as a result, the light will turn off.

Selection of modes: high beam - it is necessary to turn the button clockwise from low beam to off, to switch to High beam, you should continue to rotate the switch. Low beam - from high beam, turn the switch counterclockwise to off, continue to turn to low beam.

Dipped + High beam: In any light group, a single click on the side button activates double lighting, a second click allows you to exit the mode.

Brightness level selection: In the high beam group - rotate the switch to cycle between Low→Med→High→Turbo (also vice versa). In the low beam group - rotate the switch to select between Low→Med→High.

Dipped and High Beam: In the high beam group, turn the knob clockwise to select between Low→Med→High→Turbo (also reverse). In the low beam group: rotate the switch counter-clockwise to cycle between Low→Med→High. The headlamp does not have an intelligent memory circuit, so every time the lamp is turned on again, it starts immediately in low mode for any type of lighting.

Brightness modes

Further lighting: in Turbo mode, the luminous flux reaches 2000 lumens, the duration of the glow is 6 hours, the beam distance is 251 meters. In the High mode, the brightness of the light is 800 lumens, the duration of operation is 12 hours, and the range is 156 meters. In the Med mode, the luminous flux reaches 200 lumens, the duration of the glow is 34 hours, and the distance is 78 meters. Low mode: the brightness reaches 50 lumens, the duration of operation is 120 hours, the range of the beam is 42 meters.

Close lighting: in the High mode, the brightness of the light is 1000 lumens, the duration of the glow is 10 hours, the range is 78 meters. Med mode: luminous flux reaches 200 lumens, duration of operation - 34 hours, beam distance - 34 meters. In the Low mode, the brightness of the light is 50 lumens, the duration of the glow is 120 hours, and the distance is 17 meters.

Near + far lighting: in Turbo mode, the brightness of the light reaches 3000 lumens (the highest value), the duration of the glow is 5 hours, the distance is 270 meters. In the High mode, the luminous flux is 1800 lumens, the duration of operation is 6 hours, and the range of the beam is 177 meters. In the Med mode, the brightness of the light is 400 lumens, the duration of the glow is 17 hours, the lighting distance is 85 meters. Low mode: brightness reaches 100 lumens, glow duration – 60 hours, beam distance – 45 meters.

It should be mentioned that the above performance indicators of the lantern were obtained during laboratory experiments. For this, two Fenix ARB-L21 - 5000 lithium-ion batteries were used at a temperature of 21 + - 3 degrees Celsius and a humidity of 50% -80%. The actual parameters of the glow may differ from those indicated depending on the battery used, as well as on the environmental conditions.

The flashlight has an option to indicate the degree of charge. With the light off, press the switch to track the battery status. The indicator will be on for three seconds. If four indicators are lit, it means that the degree of charge is 100%-80%. Three burning indicators indicate a charge level of 80%-60%. Two light indicators mean that the charge level has dropped to 60%-40%. One indicator lights up, respectively, 40%-20%. If the only indicator blinks, it follows that 20%-1% of the charge remains.

The lamp body is protected against overheating - if the temperature of the body rises to 60 degrees Celsius and above, the brightness of the light is automatically reduced. When the body has cooled down a little, you can return to high brightness modes again.

Physical parameter

The dimensions of the model are 92*56*44 millimeters. The weight is 437 grams, including the battery and headband. It is made of durable aluminum alloy A6061-T6. Impact resistance - two meters, waterproof standard - IP66 (withstands powerful water splashes).
