The presence of 10 operating modes with a brightness of up to 1600 lm with the ability to smoothly adjust the color temperature of the light makes the Fenix ​​CL27R flashlight one of the most functional in the brand's assortment. The model can be used for various purposes: for lighting at home or camping, for industrial work and even for video shooting. The last fact was verified during the testing of the lantern by Ukrainian video bloggers, who appreciated the variety and quality of lighting, which can be easily adjusted to specific needs.

The flashlight is based on a Luminus SST20 LED and an auxiliary three-color COB diode - both with a service life of at least 50,000 hours, which guarantees the longevity of the device. The angle of the beam depends on the type of selected mode: it is 105° in low beam, 14.5° in long beam with 85° side illumination, and 14.5° with 105° illumination in combined mode.

The main advantage of the Fenix ​​CL27R is the presence of 4 lighting groups, including a group with red light that preserves night vision.

Group with low lighting

Please note! The operating time at high modes is calculated taking into account the decrease in brightness that occurs when the overheating protection is triggered.

The color temperature of low light modes is 5700K, and the temperature of long-range and combined light options can be adjusted from 2700K to 6500K.

Control is carried out with one button and two rotary switches: one is responsible for switching modes, the other for changing the color temperature of the beam.

Power supply

For power, it is recommended to use the Fenix ​​ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery, which ensures uninterrupted operation of the flashlight up to 285 hours on a single charge, regardless of the conditions of use. This battery is included, as is a USB Type-C charging cable. The time of full charging takes about 2.5 hours.

Alternatively, you can use the Fenix ​​ARB-L18 18650 li-ion battery.

You can monitor the battery charge level using a color indicator, which is activated each time the flashlight is turned on.

Physical parameters

The main part of the housing is made of aluminum alloy, which does not rust when in contact with aggressive environments and makes the lantern immune to damage in the event of a fall from a height of 1.5 m. The model is suitable for outdoor use in bad weather, as the tightness of the shell corresponds to the IP66 class.

The lamp can be installed in any convenient way: mounted on a tripod with a threaded connection, suspended and fixed on a metal surface with a magnetic handle that rotates 360°, or placed on a table using as a miniature lamp.
