Controlling the model

From the model off position, press and hold the side button for about half a second. This allows you to enter general modes. From the on state of the flashlight, press and hold the side button for a little longer than one second, thereby starting flash mode. Also from the on state Press and hold the side switch for about half a second to turn off the flashlight.

To move between different lighting modes, in the main line of modes, you need to press the side button once. So you can switch between Eco→Low→Med→High→Turbo modes. In the strobe mode row, press the side switch once to cycle between Strobe→SOS levels.

The model has an option to remember the used mode. The flashlight remembers the mode that belongs to the general line. When it is turned on again, the mode that was used before the shutdown is started. If you used the mode from the line of flashes, then in this case, when you turn it on again, the strobe mode starts.

If needed, you can also block the lantern. To lock, press the button twice, about half a second, the light will be locked. The indicator will flash twice at the minimum level, showing the current status of the model. To unlock, double-click the switch for half a second, the flashlight will unlock, and automatically turn on at a low level.

• Low. The brightness of the light reaches 100 lumens, it works in this mode for 29 hours, the distance of the beam is 80 meters, the intensity of the luminous flux is 1600 candelas.
• Eco. The luminous flux is 30 lumens, the lighting time is 68 hours, the distance of the beam is 45 meters, the intensity is 520 candelas.

Flash modes

• Strobe. The luminous flux is 3000 lumens.
• SOS. The brightness of the lighting reaches 100 lumens.

* The indicated performance indicators of the lantern were obtained during laboratory experiments. A single Fenix ​​ARB-L21-5000 Li-ion battery was used, the air temperature was about 21 +-3 degrees Celsius, and the humidity was about 50% -80%. The operating parameters of the model may differ depending on which battery is used, as well as on the environmental conditions.

There is also an option to display the charge level. With the light off, the side switch must be pressed to monitor the battery status. If the steady green light is on, it means the charge level is high, 100%-85%. If the green light flashes, then 85%-50% of the charge remains. When the red light appears, it means that the charge remains 50%-25%. A flashing red light shows that the charge level has dropped to 25% -1%.

So that the housing does not overheat during the lantern glow, special intelligent protection was made. When the temperature of the model is 60 degrees or more, the default brightness is reduced. When the case cools down, you can then return to the largest mode again.
