The Fenix E05R flashlight model is a small and fairly light mini-keychain. One of the specific features of this attractive flashlight is that the body is presented in three different shades. Namely, in black, green and bronze colors. The lantern not only performs a decorative function, but also gives its owner the largest luminous flux of 400 lumens. At the same time, the light beam spreads over a distance of 64 meters. This flashlight uses a Cree XP-G2 S3 LED, white lighting. It is powered by a built-in Li-polymer battery with a capacity of 320 mAh.

There is a hidden micro-USB port for charging. A high-performance lens with a full reflective coating is also provided. There is a metal button to turn the flashlight on and off, as well as to select the mode. Four different brightness levels.

Lamp control

To turn the Fenix E05R on or off, press and hold the side switch for half a second. Press the side button once to select the mode when the light is on. Thus, you can activate the mode: minimum → average → maximum. If you need to use instant Turbo, for this you need to press and hold the side switch for 1.2 seconds, if you release it, it will return to the minimum mode.

To lock the model, it is enough to press the button twice within half a second when it is turned off. The model blinks twice in minimal mode to show that it is locked. To unlock, you need to press the button twice for half a second - the flashlight will unlock and turn on in minimum mode.

Mode

Turbo. In this mode, the lantern is capable of producing a maximum brightness of 400 lumens. The range of the beam reaches 64 meters. The intensity of the luminous flux is 1046 candelas.
Maximum. The luminous flux is 150 lumens, it shines for 55 minutes, the distance of the beam is 40 meters. The intensity of the luminous flux is 412 candelas.
Average. The brightness of the lighting reaches 25 lumens. The duration of the glow in this mode is five hours. The range of the beam reaches 17 meters. The intensity of the luminous flux is 72 candelas.
Minimum. The luminous flux is equal to 3 lumens. The duration of the glow is 30 hours. Shines at a distance of 8 meters. The lighting intensity is 15 candelas.

It should be noted that the given parameters of the model's glow were obtained during laboratory experiments. For this, a built-in Li-polymer 320 mAh battery was used, the air temperature reached 21±3°C and humidity 50% - 80%. The actual performance of the lantern may be different depending on the environmental conditions and power elements.

The body of the model is protected from overheating by default. During operation, the model accumulates a lot of thermal energy, and heating is a threat to normal functioning. Therefore, when the temperature exceeds 60 degrees, the brightness of the lantern automatically decreases. When the temperature drops below 60 degrees, you can return to the maximum mode again.
