The Fenix ​​E35R EDC flashlight can be used for fishing, traveling, at home or for professional purposes. Unlike its predecessor, the E35 V3.0 model, the update boasts an impressive brightness of 3100 lumens. The range of light has also increased: now it is as much as 260 meters.

The Luminus SST70 cold white diode used in the lantern has a service life of about 5.5 years. Thanks to the combination of a thin glass lens and Fenix's AOD-S V2.0 diffuser, the lighting is soft and even, without small artifacts.

To prevent the risk of overheating and damage to the internal electronics, the light is equipped with an IOP protection board. When the shell is heated to 60°C, the protection is activated, the brightness of the light decreases and the structure gradually cools down.

Among the three pairs of modes with a brightness of 30 lumens or more, there are five standard variations of constant lighting, as well as an emergency strobe.

Power source

Fenix ​​E35R can shine continuously for almost three days, as the lantern is powered by a high-performance battery — Li-ion battery 21700. The best option for this model is the branded ARB-L21 battery of the corresponding form factor, because it is guaranteed to be of high quality.

When the color indicator in the control button signals a critically low battery charge level, you can use the Type-C port and charge the model in just 3 hours.

Physical parameters

Dimensions of the E35R flashlight significantly smaller than modern smartphones, so the design is as comfortable as possible to wear. The length of the case is 120 mm, the diameter of the head — 26.5 mm, tail diameter — 24.8 mm. The weight of the model together with the battery added to the set is 148 grams.

Body material — aluminum A6061-T6, used in aircraft construction. The metal retains its shape in case of a drop from a meter height, and the hard anodized coating gives it resistance to oxidation. The lantern can even be immersed in water for a short time, as the moisture protection is at the highest level — IP68.

E35R is comfortable to hold in the hand, as there is a small knurling on the body. The model can also be attached to a belt / clothing pocket with a detachable clip, or fixed on any metal surface with a magnet in the tail, freeing your hands for important tasks.
