Description of the Fenix LD45R handheld flashlight:

The Fenix LD45R flashlight works on the basis of the Luminus SFT70 LED (color temperature 6500K) and offers a completely new approach to the use of lighting devices thanks to modifications that allow you to precisely adjust the type of lighting.

One of the main features of the model — digital zoom with stepless adjustment of the beam width using a rotary switch. It is enough to turn it by 270° to switch from the floodlight of the floodlight to a focused beam with a long range of 480 m.

The lantern is equipped with a bright OLED display, which displays basic information: the current mode and output power, as well as the charge level in the power cell.

Operation modes and control features

The lantern has 7 modes, which are divided into groups according to the type of lighting: constant and flashing. Control is carried out by pressing an electronic button.

Please note that the intensity and range of light in each mode differs depending on the set beam width (for the spotlight, these indicators in Turbo mode are 6750 cd and 164 m, and for focused light — 57600 cd and 480 m, respectively).

Important! Time operation in Turbo mode is calculated taking into account the gradual reduction of power during the activation of the overheating protection. The protection is activated if the temperature of the internal electronics reaches 60°C.

Power supply

The Fenix LD45R comes complete with a Fenix ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery that can be charged directly in the device's battery compartment via the USB Type-C port. A full charge of the battery takes 3 hours when using a 5V / 2.5A charging adapter.

Please note that the maximum operating current of this model exceeds 14A, so it cannot be powered by ARB-L21-5000 and ARB-L21-5000U branded batteries.

Physical parameters

Aluminum body A6061-T6 with hard anodization is not prone to corrosion and is not afraid of mechanical damage, in particular, in case of a drop from a height of 1 m. In addition, the textured knurling that covers most of the structure makes it easier to hold.

Useful bonus — full protection of the shell against the ingress of dirt and water due to the maximum tightness of the joints (IP68). This means that you can use the lantern in any weather conditions — the device will work stably even after being immersed in water for several meters.
