Model management

Fenix ​​PD35 V3.0 is controlled via the back button and the one on the side of the case. To turn on/off, press the tactical button (on the back), if you let go, the light will turn off. Press the tactical switch fully to turn on the light for a long time, pressing it again will turn off the model.

To select the mode: when the device is turned on, press the function button (side) once, this will allow you to move between Turbo→Eco→Low→Med→High levels. To switch to Strobe mode, with the light on, press and hold the function switch for half a second. If you need to return to the previous mode, press this button again once.

The model has a mode memory function. This means that when it is turned on again, the mode that was used before turning it off will immediately apply. However, the function does not extend to the strobe mode.

Operation modes

• Turbo mode. The brightness of the lighting reaches 1700 lumens. Duration of work - 1 hour 25 minutes. The range of the beam is 357 meters. The lighting intensity is 31900 candelas.

• Low mode. Light brightness - 50 lumens, duration of work - 26 hours and 25 minutes, lighting distance is 63 meters. Light flux intensity - 1000 candelas.
• Eco mode. The brightness of the light is five lumens. Duration of work - 230 hours. The distance of the beam is 20 meters. Lighting intensity - 100 candelas.

* The given model luminance indicators were obtained during laboratory testing. Where there were the following conditions: the temperature was about 21 + -3 degrees Celsius, the humidity was about 50-80 percent. The Fenix ​​ARB-L18-2600U battery was used. The actual parameters of the flashlight may differ depending on the environmental conditions and which battery is used.

The lamp is effectively protected against overheating of the case. During the glow, it accumulates a lot of thermal energy, which can prevent the normal operation of the lantern. Therefore, by default, when the temperature reaches 60 degrees and above, the brightness of the lighting decreases. When the temperature drops below 60 degrees, you can return to the maximum mode again.

A low voltage warning option is also available here. When the voltage drops below a certain level, the brightness decreases. At the Eco level, the discharged light will flash three times every 10 minutes to indicate the need to charge.

Charge level indication: the indicator on the functional side button shows the battery status. If the green light is on, it means that the charge is sufficient, 85-100 percent. Green flashes mean that 50-85 percent of the charge remains. If the red light comes on, it means that 25 to 50 percent of the charge remains. Blinking red indicates that the model needs to be charged urgently, as the charge level has dropped below 25 percent.

The body of the lantern is made of strong aluminum a6061-T6. A high-quality anodized coating was applied to the surface of the case to prevent scratches.
