LED and its power supply

The reliable and durable Luminus SST 70 with a service life of 50,000 hours is used as an LED. There is protection against overheating - it works when the brightest mode is used for a long time and the temperature rises to 60 degrees Celsius. After cooling, it will be possible to return to turbo mode. One 21700 type battery (voltage 3.6 V) is enough for the operation of the diode. Construction and materials

The LED is behind the glass lens. Ultra-transparent glass is used, with an anti-reflective coating. The lens is protected by an impact edge - a kind of crown made of steel. It contains tungsten, which increases the strength of the alloy. The impact edge can even be used to break glass.

The body itself is made of aviation aluminum alloy (A6061-T6), which has undergone special anodization treatment. This procedure is designed to increase the strength of aluminum. The result is a hard but light material that is resistant to chips and scratches. Also, the lantern is reliably protected from moisture, the protection class is IP68. This means that he is not afraid of any rain or snowfall. And even with complete immersion in water, the lantern will work.

Operation modes

This model has 5 brightness modes, plus a flickering strobe mode. The latter allows you to temporarily disorient the enemy. It is turned on by a smaller button on the tail of the case. It can also be used to switch between modes. The large (tactical) button is designed for silent activation of the backlight (light when pressed) and normal lighting (press with a click). Yes, you can instantly turn on the desired mode, use the silent backlight.

Functionality

To make the lantern even more practical and functional, you can use special Fenix ​​accessories. For example, the button for remote mode control is AER-5. With the help of the ALG-05 mount, you can conveniently place this button on the muzzle of the gun, and the ALG-00 mount will securely fix the light itself. You can also use AOF-M (color) and AOT-M (signal) filters.
