For law enforcement officers, special lighting devices are needed, capable not only of brightly illuminating objects at various distances, but also of enduring extreme operating conditions. The Fenix ​​TK22R flashlight has been developed for such situations and is intended for use in tactical and official tasks, when the success of the mission depends on the reliability of the lighting source.

The lighting characteristics of the model are impressive: its maximum brightness is 3200 lumens, and the beam range reaches almost half a kilometer (480 meters). The cold white beam (6500K) generated by the Luminus SST70 LED is suitable for point lighting of a small area, which is also facilitated by the smooth metal reflector.

The lamp is compatible with many branded accessories that expand the functionality of the device and increase the ease of use. Among them: mounts ALG-00, ALG-15, ALG-16, remote tactical button AER-05 V2.0, mounts for remote button ALG-05 and ALG-06, diffusion filter AOD-M, light filter AOF-L, signal stick AOT-L.

Taking into account the possibility of fixing the model on the weapon, it provides recoil protection during firing, so the flashlight can also be use as hunting.

Operation modes

The interface includes 2 groups of modes: tactical with two light options and service with four modes. A stroboscope is also included in the list. With the help of this mode, you can instantly disorient the opponent, and in ordinary situations — give light signals.

Tactical group

Important! The calculation of the duration of operation in Turbo mode was carried out taking into account the duration of the glow of the lantern in less bright modes. They turn on in order from High to Low when the temperature of the internal electronics reaches ≥60°C and the overheating protection is activated.

Control Features

Fenix ​​TK22R implements a tactical type of control, in which the buttons are not located on the side of the case, but in its tail. This model has two switches: a rotary FlexiSensa and a round standard one designed for instant light activation.

• Instant light activation: pinching the tactical switch. If you release the button, the light will go out.
• Turn on / off the constant light: press the tactical switch all the way.
• Select the mode group: rotate the FlexiSensa switch.
• Change the mode: press the tactical switch after selecting the mode group. In the tactical group, the modes change in the following order: Turbo → Strobe. In the service group, the modes are arranged in the following order: Low → Medium → High → Turbo.
• Lamp lock: turn the FlexiSensa switch to the position indicated by the closed lock. After selecting a group of modes, the flashlight is automatically unlocked.

Important! The flashlight has a memory of the last mode that works for all light options. When the model is turned on again, the mode used before turning it off is activated.

Power source

The heart of the flashlight is the ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery, which is included in the kit. But it can be replaced by another standard 21700 power supply: ARB-L21-5000U or ARB-L21-4000P.

The manufacturer has added a hidden USB Type-C port for charging the battery. To access the port, you need to unscrew the lower part of the head of the case, which acts as a protection against dirt and moisture.

The average charging time of the battery is 3.5 hours. To further control the amount of remaining charge, you can focus on the LED indicator, which turns on for 3 seconds each time the device is activated:

• Green (steady): 100% - 85%;
• Green (blinking): 85% - 50%;
• Red (steady): 50% - 25%;
• Red (flashing): 25% - 1%.

Attention! It is forbidden to use 18650, CR123A and 16340 batteries to power the flashlight.

Physical parameters

Fenix ​​TK22R is almost entirely made of aluminum. A6061-T6. Exception — steel bezel with addition in the form of three tips made of tungsten steel, which are not afraid of shock loads and can replace broken glass. Aluminum is processed by the HA III hard anodizing method, so the metal is immune to oxidation and other manifestations of the corrosion process.

The structure maintains its integrity, and the internal electronics — operability even in the event of a fall from a height of 1 meter or immersion in water, which proves the IP68 protection standard.

Model dimensions: 158 mm (length) x 40 mm (head diameter) x 25.4 mm (tail diameter). It can be worn in different ways: attach it to clothes with a removable clip or fix it on your belt using a branded cover. Especially since the flashlight weighs 218 grams, which is minimally felt during transportation.
