The function of automatic memorization of the mode is implemented in the lantern. The model remembers the lighting mode you used last time, except for the strobe. It is also able to reduce brightness if its temperature exceeds 65 degrees. Such a measure is necessary to protect against overheating.

Fenix ​​TK26R is controlled by three buttons. The round button in the tail is for on or off. The oval button in the tail is needed to select a specific mode. The side button in the main part of the model helps to choose a color. To turn on the flashlight, lightly press the tactical button, without clicking. If you need to turn off the lamp, just release the button. Pressing the button fully (until it clicks) turns on the flashlight for a long time. To turn it off, you need to press the button again until it clicks.

Modes can be selected with single clicks on the function button in the tail part. When the model is on, press the function button on the main part once to select red, green or white light. To switch to strobe mode, press and hold the tail function button for less than one second. Click this button again to return to the main modes.

In order to monitor the battery charge level, a color indication is provided. Every time the flashlight is turned on, the battery status is shown in the center of the button. If the charge is 85-100 percent, then the button glows with a stable green light. When the charge drops to 50-85 percent, the green light starts flashing. If the charge remains from 25 to 50 percent, a stable red light appears. And finally, a red flashing light lets you know that you need to charge the flashlight urgently - less than 25 percent of the charge remains.

Fenix ​​TK26R has reliable protection against dust and moisture. The water resistance standard is IP68. This means you can submerge it up to two meters deep and it will work there for half an hour.
