Fenix ​​TK30R — this is a representative of tactical type lights that can be attached to a weapon using one of the company's mounts. The model uses a class 1 laser as an emitter, thanks to which a more focused beam of light is generated compared to ordinary LED lights.

Just imagine: the range of the laser beam (color temperature 6500K) reaches 1500 m! This means that you can use the device not only to illuminate certain objects indoors or outdoors, but also use the lighting as a light guide, for example, during a tourist trip, hunting, patrolling or performing search and rescue work.

The model is an improved version of the basic TK30 flashlight, and in addition to the increased light range, it has received additions in the form of a USB Type-C charging port and improved autonomy (as much as 8 hours 50 minutes of continuous light on one charge).

Operating modes and control features

There are 3 operating modes to choose from: a pair of constant light options and a strobe that generates bright flashes of light in case you need to disorient an intruder, scare away a wild animal or attract attention in an emergency.

• High: 500 lm - 600,000 cd - 3 h 30 min - 1500 m;
• Low: 100 lm - 100,000 cd - 8 h 50 min - 600 m;
• Stroboscope: 500 lm.

Important! If the temperature of the flashlight's internal electronics reaches 60°C, the overheating protection is activated. As a result, the brightness of the light in High mode is automatically reduced by a few lumens to allow the device to cool down. When the temperature drops below 60°C, the most powerful mode is ready for use again.

Control is implemented with an emphasis on the speed of light adjustment with one hand. For this, the control system is placed in the tail part of the structure: the button is responsible for on / off. flashlight and strobe activation, and the rotary switch allows you to quickly change modes and set the lock to prevent the model from accidentally turning on during transport.

Power supply

Fenix ​​TK30R operating voltage is 2.9V - 6.0V. One 21700 li-ion battery with a nominal voltage of 3.6 V (included) is suitable for power. The USB Type-C port, hidden in the main part of the lamp body, is intended for charging the battery. Charging time is 4 hours when using a 15W or higher charging adapter.

You can monitor the amount of charge in the battery by activating the color indicator by pressing the tail button (only works for Fenix ​​ARB-L21 series batteries).

Physical parameters

A6061-T6 aluminum body (1m impact resistance) is resistant to mechanical damage and recoil during firing. HAIII type anodized coating protects the metal from corrosion and matts small scratches that may appear on the shell during operation.

A nice bonus — full tightness of the structure (IP68), which allows you to use the lantern in any weather conditions. In addition, the model continues to work stably even after submersion in water to a depth of 2 m for 30 minutes.

The design weighs 250 g and is equipped with a clip for fixation on the pocket. The kit also includes a lanyard and a case with a belt loop that offer alternative ways of carrying.
