The Fenix PD36R Pro is an improved version of the Fenix PD36R and features an impressive light brightness of up to 2800 lumens, which is almost 2 times the power of the base model. The device is designed on the basis of modern Fenix APF (Advanced Pulse Frequency) technology. It allows you to avoid limiting the current without negative consequences for the service life of the internal electronics and increase the performance of the lantern to the maximum.

The Luminus SFT70 white LED generates a bright light with a range of 380 meters. The resource of the diode is about 50 thousand hours. The flashlight is powered by a 21700 Fenix ARB-L21 V2.0 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. The battery is recharged using a charging cable that connects directly to the case with a built-in USB Type-C port. Charging time is 3 hours. If necessary, the battery from the kit can be replaced with one of the branded batteries: ARB-L21-5000U or ARB-L21-4000P.

The charging port is closed with a silicone plug to prevent water droplets and dust from getting inside. The charging process can be monitored using a color indicator that lights up in green or red depending on the degree of battery charge.

The functional Fenix PD36R Pro is presented with 6 operating modes: 5 main modes with constant light to illuminate a large space or illuminate distant objects at great distances, as well as 1 flashing strobe mode that allows you to dazzle opponent or send bright signals to others.

The model has a memory of the last used mode, therefore, at the next activation, the user does not need to search for the light of the required power again.

Control features

A pair of switches located in the tail part of the case is used for control. The buttons are different in size and surface to avoid confusion in the dark: a round tactical switch with a rough surface and a smooth oval shaped function switch.

On/Off: Press the tactical switch until it clicks.
Instant activation: Half press the tactical button.
Operating mode change: pressing the function switch.
Momentary strobe: pressing the function switch.
Stroboscope activation in permanent mode: pressing the function switch for 0.5 seconds. If pressed again, the constant light mode is activated.

Physical parameters

The body is made of wear-resistant aluminum alloy A6061-T6, which is strong and resistant to mechanical influences. The metal does not deform during impacts and guarantees the protection of the internal electronics in case the lantern falls from a height of about 1.5 meters. The case is completely sealed - this is indicated by the IP68 moisture protection class, which allows you to submerge the device under water multiple times without endangering its performance.

The feature of the model is the bright red shade of the case, which makes the model stand out against the background of analogues in classic black color. An addition in the form of a black clip allows you to attach the lantern to clothes.

The dimensions of the case are 145.8 x 26.5 x 25.7 millimeters. The weight including the battery does not exceed 169 grams.
