HM61R V2.0 multi-flashlight — an updated version of the popular HM61R model from the Fenix ​​brand with improved lighting performance and a redesigned control system. The multi-light has no limitations in the field of use: its functionality will be useful both during work and at home or when traveling if the owner needs a powerful and autonomous lighting device.

The model is equipped with two types of diodes. Luminus SST40 in white is the main one and emits light with a brightness of up to 1600 lumens. Due to the smooth reflector and ultra-transparent lens, the range of the beam reaches a mark of 162 meters. The light itself has no artifacts and does not illuminate nearby objects.

In addition to a white LED, the flashlight is also equipped with an SMD diode 2835 that emits red spectrum lighting. This type of light is optimal for illuminating a small area, and the flashing red mode (Flash) can be used as a light beacon.

Operating modes

The eight light options are divided into two groups depending on the LED used (main white or auxiliary red).

Each mode has its own unique characteristics:

White lighting

• Turbo: 1600 lumens / 2 hours / 162 meters;
• High: 600 lumens / 3 hours / 97 meters;
• Med: 150 lumens / 12 hours / 47 meters;
• Low: 50 lumens / 35 hours / 28 meters;
• Eco: 5 lumens / 300 hours / 9 meters.

Red lighting

• Low: 1 lumen / 400 hours;
• Med: 5 lumens / 80 hours;
• Flash: 5 lumens / 160 hours.

The interface is controlled by a single switch in the head of the structure. The manufacturer has simplified management: in the updated lantern, the user can quickly switch to a group with a red light. To do this, it is enough to keep the switch pressed for a few seconds with the device turned off, after which the red light will turn on instantly.

Power supply

One 18650 battery can be inserted into the battery compartment. To extend the service life of the flashlight and eliminate the risk of a malfunction due to a low-quality battery, it is recommended to use a battery manufactured by Fenix. In this case, the ARB-L18 battery is suitable, the capacity of which is equal to 3400 mAh (sold in a set with a flashlight).

On the side of the main part of the case, you can find a magnetic port designed for fast charging of the battery. There is an indicator in the switch. It is activated when the USB charging cable is connected and helps the owner control the charging process. First, the indicator lights up in red, and then — green when charging is complete.

Physical parameters

Fenix ​​HM61R V2.0 comes with a branded rubber band that ensures comfortable wearing of the model on the head. Installing and removing the lantern is now even easier. It is fixed on the rubber band not due to the plastic holders used in most mounts for headlamps, but thanks to a steel clip. This allows you to speed up the process of fixing or removing the flashlight from the mount, which takes only a few seconds.

If necessary, you can use the model as a hand-held flashlight or fix it on the pocket of your uniform / casual clothes. The model is held on the metal surface thanks to the magnet in the base of the structure.

The body of the HM61R V2.0 is made of aluminum alloy A6061-T6. Aluminum is treated with anodization, which makes it more wear-resistant and resistant to corrosion. Hermeticity in accordance with the IP68 standard ensures complete protection of electronics from water and debris. In addition, the lantern is able to work when the value on the thermometer is in the range of -35°C to 45°C, so it is suitable for operation in winter frosts and summer heat. The body is shock-resistant and can withstand drops from a height of several meters.

HM61R V2.0 boasts a miniature body with dimensions of 101 x 45 x 36 mm and weighs only 152 grams including the headband and battery.
