The "M-AK-3" pouch was developed based on the proven American contractual model Triple Mag Pouch MOLLE US Army, taking into account the identified shortcomings of the original and aiming to create a more universal and practical product.
Design features:
- Fully camouflaged front side. MOLLE (PALS) webbing and edging are made in the color of the product and the main camouflage, which significantly reduces visual visibility compared to the original, where they are monochrome.
- Extended attachment capabilities. The use of three straps and six slots allows for attaching additional pouches without displacement, precisely by dimensions, or placing a second row of pouches.
- Reliable magazine fixation. Magazines are secured with an elastic cord with a grip, which significantly expands compatibility — magazines from almost all manufacturers fit, unlike fixed flap closures with buttons.
- Effective drainage. Two stainless eyelets at the base facilitate quick water drainage, increasing reliability of use in unfavorable conditions.
- Universal attachment system. Thanks to a pair of rearrangeable modular clips "Molle Mirror Fix" of our own design, the pouch can be attached to a belt or to modular interfaces 4 or 6 slots wide. It can be installed with magazines facing up or down — for example, on hard-to-reach areas of the side of a plate carrier.
- Flexibility of use. A set of two such pouches is perfectly suited for attachment to a plate carrier, battle belt, combat vest, tactical backpack, etc.
- Versatility. Allows carrying both AK and AR platform magazines.
Fabric and hardware characteristics:
Materials (MilSpec version):
- Camouflage fabric CORDURA 500D NIR (USA MilSpec)
- Impregnation: PU, NIR, DWR
- MOLLE (PALS) webbing: Murdock NIR USA MilSpec, in product color
Additionally: The pouch allows for carrying three AK series magazines. It should be noted that AK magazine catches can sometimes snag on the pouch dividers — as is often the case with other equipment. 5.45x39 AK magazines are much more convenient to carry due to their less pronounced curvature compared to 7.62x39 magazines.
